Add another product

A product in Hero Marketer is a brand or offering you market. Each Google Ads account can hold multiple products, each with its own description, analysis, and campaign history.

When to add a product

A new product makes sense when:

  • You launch a new brand under the same Google Ads account.
  • You want to advertise a sub product separately (a free tier, an enterprise tier, a specific feature).
  • You acquire a company and want to run their ads through your account.

If two things share keywords, copy, and audience, they should probably be one product. If they have meaningfully different positioning or buyer types, they should be separate products.

Plan limits

Products per Google Ads account by plan:

  • Pro. 1 product per account.
  • Growth. Up to 10 products per account.
  • Agency. Up to 10 products per account.

If you hit the limit, the add product flow surfaces the limit reached screen with an upgrade prompt. See Compare plans.

Add a product

  1. Open settings, then the Products tab.
  2. Click Add product.
  3. Fill in the form:
    • Product name. What customers know it as. Up to 100 characters.
    • Website URL. Where ads will send traffic by default.
    • Description. What it does, who it's for, what problem it solves. Up to 1,000 characters.
  4. Click Continue. Hero Marketer runs the analysis on the description and website.
  5. Review the analysis. You can refine the description and re run if it didn't capture something important.
  6. Click Save. The product is added to the active account.

For guidance on writing a description that produces good campaigns, see Describe your product.

What happens after you add

The new product is available immediately in the campaign wizard's product picker. You can build a campaign for it the same day.

Existing campaigns aren't affected. Each campaign is tied to the product it was built for.

Editing later

Product descriptions can be edited anytime. See Update a product.

Deleting a product

Products can't be deleted directly through Hero Marketer's UI. If you need a product removed, contact support. We can clean it up; existing campaigns built for the product remain in your Google Ads account regardless.
