Close your account

You cannot delete or close your Hero Marketer account in the app. To close it, email support@heromarketer.io from the email address that you sign in with. Ask support to close your account.

When Hero Marketer closes your account, your Google Ads accounts do not change. Your campaigns in Google Ads keep running.

Before you ask to close your account​

Do these steps in this order:

  1. Open Settings > Billing. To open Settings, click your profile picture at the bottom of the sidebar, then click Settings.
  2. If Auto top-up is on, turn it off. This cancels the yearly credit subscription at once. Your credits stay.
  3. Open Settings > Connections.
  4. On each Google Ads account except the last one, click Disconnect account. Then confirm in the dialog. This stops daily checks and their charge for that account.
  5. On your last account, click Replace account. Then click Connect new account in the dialog. Hero Marketer disconnects the account and opens onboarding. You do not have to connect another account.
  6. Email support@heromarketer.io from your sign-in email. Ask support to close your account.
  7. If you want a refund of unused credits, ask for it in the same email.

Turn off auto top-up before you disconnect your last account. After you disconnect your last account, every app page opens onboarding, and you cannot open Settings.

Get a refund of unused credits before you close your account​

Unused credits are refundable within 90 days of the purchase that bought them. Paddle refunds the money to your original payment method. Spent credits and the Paddle processing fee are not refundable. When your account closes, you lose access to the credits that are left. Ask for the refund before the closure, or in the same email. What happens after you close your account​

When Hero Marketer closes your account, it also turns off auto top-up and takes no further charge. Your access to the app and to the credits that are left ends.

Hero Marketer can keep your data for up to 30 days so that you can come back. Then Hero Marketer deletes or anonymizes it. To ask for earlier deletion or an export of your data, email support@heromarketer.io.

Hero Marketer has no button to delete your account and no button to export your data. Support does both.

Stop charges without closing your account​

You can stop all charges and keep your account and your credits. Credits do not expire.

  • To stop the charge for daily checks, turn off all 17 alert types and all automations. Or disconnect your accounts in Settings > Connections.
  • To stop auto top-up, turn off Auto top-up in Settings > Billing.

Remove Hero Marketer from your Google Account permissions​

When you close your account or disconnect an account, Google still lists Hero Marketer in your Google Account permissions. To remove Hero Marketer there too, see Disconnect Google Ads.
