Update your profile

To change your display name, open Account → Profile in the sidebar, edit the Full name field, and click Save changes. Your profile is the small set of personal details Hero Marketer keeps about you, separate from your Google Ads accounts, your products, and your subscription.

You can reach the profile page two ways: through the sidebar at Account → Profile, or by clicking your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar and choosing Profile. That avatar dropdown also has shortcuts to Plan & credits and Log out if you don't need the full profile page.

Change your display name​

  1. Open Account → Profile in the sidebar.
  2. Edit the Full name field.
  3. Click Save changes.

Your display name updates everywhere your identity appears in the app: the sidebar, Hero AI greetings, and anywhere Hero Marketer surfaces a "you" reference.

Choose your appearance​

The Account → Profile page has an Appearance control with three options: Light, Dark, and System. Light and Dark fix the theme; System follows your computer's light or dark setting and switches with it.

Appearance is saved per device, in the browser you set it in. It isn't tied to your Hero Marketer account, so choosing Dark on one computer doesn't change the theme on another.

Change your email​

Your email is read only inside Hero Marketer. Sign in runs through Google, so the email on your profile comes from your Google identity and can't be edited on the profile page.

How you change it depends on what you're actually trying to do:

  • The address on your Google identity itself changed. Hero Marketer picks up the new email automatically the next time you sign in. There's nothing to do in Hero Marketer.
  • You want to move to a different Google identity. Signing in with a different Google identity creates a separate Hero Marketer account. It does not move your existing subscription, accounts, and products over. To carry those across to the new identity, contact support.

Change your password​

There's no Hero Marketer password to change, reset, or rotate. Authentication runs entirely through Google, so Hero Marketer never holds a password for you. If you've lost access, it traces back to your Google account, recover it through Google's standard account recovery flows.

Sign out​

You can sign out two ways:

  • From Account → Profile, using the Sign out button at the bottom of the page.
  • From the avatar dropdown at the bottom of the sidebar, using Log out.

Either one clears your session on this device, and you'll sign in with Google again on your next visit. Signing out doesn't delete anything, your accounts, products, and subscription are untouched. To stop your subscription entirely, see Cancel your subscription.
