What automations do
Automations let Hero Marketer take small, reversible actions on your Google Ads account on its own. It blocks wasting search terms, lifts capped budgets, pauses pure-waste keywords, and eases CPA or ROAS targets on overperformers. Each automation is off by default. Hero Marketer previews it before it runs, and every action is guarded, capped, and reversible in one click. You can also compose your own.
Recommended automations
The five automations Hero Marketer recommends: block wasting search terms, lift capped budgets, pause pure-waste keywords, ease CPA targets, and ease ROAS targets, with the exact trigger, action, and safety caps for each. All five are off by default.
Turn on an automation
How to enable an automation, find its card, read the required preview, and confirm. Detector automations expose adjustable cap sliders and brand tokens. The three grammar automations have fixed thresholds in this version, so you only enable or disable them.
Automation history
The history page at /automations is the full audit log of every action an automation took on your account, across all five automations. Every action is reversible in one click, in any order, and each revert restores the entity to its prior state.
Build a custom automation
A custom automation goes beyond the five recommended cards. You compose it in Settings → Automations from the same grammar: pick a money signal, set the condition, choose the action. It runs through the identical guards and audit log, and you can revert it with one click. Available signals are cost per conversion, return on ad spend, and wasted spend, each with its own allowed actions.
