Export your dashboard as a PDF
Choose Export PDF at the top of the dashboard to download a snapshot of the account for the period you view. Use this to give the numbers to someone who does not have a Hero Marketer login.
The file downloads as dashboard-<account>-<date>.pdf. This keeps exports from different accounts and dates easy to sort.
What the export captures
The PDF shows the state of the page when you click:
- The date range and the comparison setting.
- All active filters (campaign type, status, campaign names).
- The metrics you have selected, the chart granularity, and the campaign table in the order you sorted it.
- The AI brief, if one exists for that view.
The export leaves out the sidebar, filter bar, and buttons, so the page is clean. Everything lands on one tall page. The export does not split it across sheets. Your PDF viewer can set the pages again if you need to print it.
It exports the standard layout, not your tile arrangement
The export shows the standard dashboard layout: the brief, the performance summary, the trend chart, the breakdowns, and the campaign table. It does not copy a custom tile arrangement. A dashboard where you moved, resized, removed, or added tiles still exports in the standard shape.
The export always keeps your filters and date range. So the numbers in the PDF are the numbers you looked at, even when the arrangement is different.
The brief in the export
The PDF includes the AI brief only when one already exists for that view. In the file, the brief is read-only, with no buttons.
An export never generates a brief and never spends credits. If you want the brief in the PDF, generate it on the page first, then export. See The AI account brief.
How long it takes
The export usually takes ten to thirty seconds. The whole page must load, and every chart must finish drawing, before Hero Marketer can capture the file. Longer date ranges take more time. The button shows Preparing PDF while it works.
Other things to know
- The PDF is a snapshot from the moment you click. To capture an update, export again.
- Reports export separately. A saved report has its own PDF export. It can also export its campaign rows as a CSV. See Read and share a report.
- There is no scheduled or emailed delivery. Hero Marketer does not send the dashboard anywhere on a schedule, and there is no public link. To share, send the file you downloaded.
