Review

Review is the second built-in dashboard, after the Overview. It shows what changed in your ad accounts and what followed each change. To open Review, click the dashboard menu at the top left, then click Review. You can also click Open Review on the line at the top of the Overview.

What Review shows

  • Needs attention. The open alerts. Protect alerts show first, then the newest. To see an alert, click Open.
  • Changes and results. Each change in the date range, with what followed it. To show more than 6 changes, click See all.
  • Pace against target. The month so far against your monthly target. See Monthly targets.
  • Over time. The spend or the conversions of each platform for each day. A numbered line marks each day with a change.
  • What monitoring caught. The alerts from the date range, open or resolved.

When the Platform filter is on All, Review shows all platforms. When you select one platform, Review shows that platform only. Review stays open when you change the Platform filter.

Which changes show in Review

  • Google Ads. All changes: changes in the Google Ads website, in Google Ads Editor, from recommendations that Google applied, and from other tools.
  • Changes in Hero Marketer. The changes that you, Hero AI, or an automation made. These changes show on all platforms.
  • LinkedIn Ads and Meta Ads. Only the changes made in Hero Marketer. LinkedIn and Meta do not supply a change history.

Google keeps its change history for 30 days only. Hero Marketer stores the Google change history each day, from 4 November 2026. So older Google changes show only if Hero Marketer stored them.

The same change to one campaign on one day shows as one row. For example: "12 negative keywords added".

How to read the result of a change

The result compares the days after a change with the same number of days before the change. It uses up to 14 days on each side. It uses the campaign of the change, or the full account when the change has no campaign.

  • Too early to judge. The change is less than 7 days old.
  • So far. The numbers can change until 30 days after the change. The date under the result shows when the numbers are final.
  • Green. Cost per conversion went down by 10% or more, and conversions did not go down. Or conversions went up by 10% or more, and cost per conversion went up by 10% or less. Or spend went down by 10% or more, and conversions went down by 5% or less.
  • Red. Cost per conversion went up by 15% or more. Or conversions went down by 15% or more, and spend went down by less than 10%.
  • Amber. All other results.

A result shows what followed a change. It does not prove that the change caused the result. Other changes on the same days can have an effect.

Change the Over time chart

  • To show conversions, select Conversions in the menu at the top right of the chart.
  • To show spend as stacked bars, click the stacked bar icon. Conversions do not stack, because each platform counts its own conversions.
  • A dashed line shows the daily pace that your spend target needs. The line shows on stacked bars, or when one platform is in view.
  • The list under the chart tells what each numbered line shows. The chart marks up to 8 days.

Export Review as a PDF

On Review, click Export PDF. The PDF shows Review for the date range and the platform in view. Use the PDF as a monthly review for your CEO. For the cost of a PDF, see Export your dashboard.

What Review does not do

  • Review has no tiles. You cannot add reports to Review.
  • Review has no AI summary.
  • Review does not show which person made a Google change. It shows only the source, for example "Google Ads website".
