What the dashboard does
The dashboard is the live view of one Google Ads account. It is the first screen you see after you sign in. It reads current data from Google Ads in your account's time zone and currency. The numbers match the numbers in Google Ads.
Every dashboard has two parts:
- An AI account brief at the top. It gives a one-line verdict on the period, a short paragraph on what changed, and up to three next actions. You can send each action to Hero AI. See The AI account brief.
- Tiles below the brief. The tiles are the charts and tables with the numbers behind the brief. You can move, resize, and remove tiles, and add your own saved reports. See Customize your dashboard.
The Overview and named dashboards
You always have an Overview. It is the default view. It opens with seven tiles: performance summary, performance over time, campaign breakdown, device breakdown, country breakdown, audience breakdown, and conversion actions.
You can also create named dashboards. These are separate layouts. You switch between them from the dropdown at the top of the page. Use a named dashboard when you want a second arrangement for a different task, for example a spend-focused view, a conversion-focused view, or one view for each client.
One difference matters when you set them up:
- Your browser remembers the Overview layout, separately for each Google Ads account. The Overview layout does not follow you to another browser or another device. If you clear your browser data, the Overview returns to the seven default tiles.
- Hero Marketer saves named dashboards to your account. They are available on any browser you sign in from.
See Create and manage dashboards.
Dashboard, report, or Hero AI
Three parts of Hero Marketer answer three different questions:
- The dashboard is the live read. Use it for the daily check: what happens in this account now.
- A report is a saved, named deliverable that you reopen and export. Examples are the Monday status or the monthly leadership readout. See What reports do.
- Hero AI answers one-time questions in chat. With your confirmation, Hero AI can act on the account. See What Hero AI does.
A dashboard tile and a report are the same kind of object. You can add any saved report to a dashboard as a tile. You can also turn a default tile into a saved report with Save as report.
What the dashboard does not do
- It covers one Google Ads account at a time. No view combines several accounts into one view. Switch accounts with the account switcher.
- It does not run on a schedule. Hero Marketer generates the dashboard and its brief when you open or refresh the view. There is no set schedule (for example, "every Monday"), no email or Slack delivery, and no public link to share.
- It does not measure CAC or LTV. The dashboard reads Google Ads metrics only. Hero Marketer has no CRM integration. You get cost per lead, conversions, and cost per conversion, but never a measured customer acquisition cost or lifetime value.
