Review what we drafted
Review what we drafted is the second onboarding step. Hero Marketer shows the Google Ads creative it drafted for your homepage and the product context behind it, who you target and why. You see this before you pick a plan, so you can decide whether Hero Marketer understands your business.
What you see
Two things in the card:
A Google Ads creative
A live preview of a real Google search ad. Headlines, descriptions, display URL, all rendered in Google's actual ad format. Toggle between desktop and mobile views with the buttons above the preview. Shuffle to cycle through alternate headline orderings.
The draft targets your brand search. That's intentional. Branded search is the highest intent traffic any business gets, and it's the cheapest cost per click. It's where any first Google Ads campaign should start.
Three insight tiles
Below the ad, three short tiles summarize your product context:
- Who it's for. The customer Hero Marketer identified from your page.
- What they're stuck on. The problem you solve, in their words.
- Why you win. Your edge against the obvious alternatives.
If these three lines describe your business accurately, the rest of Hero Marketer's output downstream will too. If they don't, refine your product context.
Refine your product context
A "Refine analysis" toggle sits below the insight tiles. Open it and you can edit every section of your product context: jobs, pain points, customer profile, value proposition, competitors, emotional context, and social context. Edit in place. Saved changes feed every campaign you build from here.
You can leave the product context untouched and continue. You can also come back later from settings to refine it after a few campaigns are live. See Update a product.
What this step does not do
- It doesn't launch the campaign. The ad you see is a draft. Nothing is in Google Ads yet, that happens after you pick a plan and connect Google Ads.
- It doesn't generate the rest of your campaign. Keywords, sitelinks, callouts, and extensions are generated when you build a campaign in the wizard. See Create your first campaign.
What happens after you continue
Click Continue and the wizard moves to the plan picker. You pick a plan, complete checkout, and the wizard auto advances to the Google Ads connection step.
