Actions Hero AI can take
Hero AI can do more than answer questions. Some recommendations come with an action button that runs the change against your Google Ads account directly. Others hand off to specialized assistants for ad copy, landing pages, or keyword research. A few still need a human in Google Ads.
Every change Hero AI makes is shown to you for review before it ships. Nothing happens silently.
Direct changes Hero AI executes
When the recommendation has an action button, click to start the change flow. Hero AI shows you exactly what it will do, you confirm, and then it runs against Google Ads.
Available direct actions:
- Pause or resume a campaign. Useful for cutting off a campaign that's bleeding spend or reactivating one that's healthy again.
- Add negative keywords. Hero AI can mine your search terms report for waste and add the negatives at the campaign or ad group level.
- Adjust bidding. Within whichever bidding strategy your campaign already uses (Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximize Clicks, etc.).
- Apply new ad copy. When the copy assistant produces a new RSA, the action button creates the ad in the target ad group.
Each of these triggers a confirmation step in the chat. You see what's about to change, you type "confirm" or click the button, and Hero AI runs the change. You'll see a confirmation message when it's done.
Specialized assistants
Some recommendations hand off to a specialized assistant inside the chat. You'll see a progress indicator as the assistant works through its steps, then the result.
Ad copy assistant
When a recommendation flags weak ad creative — Poor ad strength, Below Average ad relevance, too few headlines, low Quality Score driven by relevance — Hero AI offers to draft new ad copy.
Accepting hands off to the copy assistant. It pulls your product context, the ad group's keywords, real search terms, and your existing copy, and produces 15 headlines and 4 descriptions for the ad group. Review, edit if needed, then confirm to apply.
You can also ask directly:
Write new ad copy for my [campaign name] campaign
Landing page assistant
When a recommendation flags a post-click experience issue — low landing page experience score, ad/page messaging mismatch, strong CTR with weak conversions — Hero AI offers to redesign the page.
Accepting hands off to the landing page assistant. It crawls your existing page, combines it with your product context, keyword themes, and ad copy, and produces a full section-by-section wireframe with copy, layout, and visual placeholders. See Landing page redesign.
Keyword research assistant
For new keyword opportunities, Hero AI's keyword research assistant takes a seed keyword and a target country, pulls real keyword ideas and historical metrics from Google, and clusters them into actionable groups with monthly searches, click estimates, and budget estimates.
Research keywords for "email marketing software" in the US
The output is designed to feed into a new campaign — clusters map naturally to ad groups, and the budget estimates calibrate what to spend.
What still needs a human
Some changes are out of Hero AI's reach by design. When the recommendation needs them, you'll get step-by-step instructions in Google Ads instead of an action button:
- Restructuring campaign targeting. Reorganizing ad groups, splitting one campaign into several, or merging campaigns.
- Conversion tracking setup or fixes. Adding new conversion actions, debugging tag firing, or changing attribution.
- Billing edits. Payment methods, tax info, account-level billing changes.
- Account-wide settings. Auto-tagging, account-level negative lists, parallel-tracking, ad scheduling at account scope.
For these, Hero AI tells you exactly what to click and what values to set, but the click happens in Google Ads.
Confirmation, every time
A few rules Hero AI follows for every direct change:
- You see what's about to change before it ships. Specific keywords, campaign IDs, or ad copy text — not a vague "I'll fix it."
- You confirm explicitly. Either by typing "confirm" / "implement" or by clicking the action button. Hero AI never assumes consent.
- You can stop a stream mid-flight. If the chat is generating a long response and you want to abort, the chat input has a Stop button.
If Hero AI tries to take an action you didn't expect, push back. "Why are you doing that?" or "Show me the underlying data" usually surfaces what changed in the conversation context.
