Change your plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your Hero Marketer plan at any time from Account → Plan. An upgrade takes effect immediately, and you're charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current period. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal. You keep the higher plan until then, with no proration or refund.
How to change your plan
- Open Account → Plan in the sidebar.
- Go to the Change plan section, or click Change plan in the snapshot card to jump there.
- Click Switch plan on the plan card you want.
- Confirm in the Paddle checkout, the difference (for an upgrade) or the new rate (for a downgrade).
Hero Marketer reflects the new plan once Paddle processes the change, usually within a minute.
What happens when you upgrade
An upgrade takes effect immediately:
- New limits and credits apply right away. The higher plan's account and product limits and its monthly credit allocation kick in immediately.
- You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period at the higher rate. Your next full charge is at renewal.
- Your credits are topped up to the new allocation. Upgrading from Pro (20 credits) to Growth (50 credits) mid-period adds 30 credits to your balance up front.
- Existing accounts and products are untouched. Upgrading from Pro to Agency, for example, doesn't add accounts automatically, it unlocks the ability to add more.
What happens when you downgrade
A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately:
- You keep the higher plan's features and limits through the end of the current billing period.
- No proration or refund. You've already paid for the current period at the higher rate.
- Your existing credit balance is unchanged. If you have 30 credits left when you downgrade. You keep those 30 through renewal. From the next period, your monthly allocation is the lower plan's amount.
- Limits enforce at renewal. If the lower plan would put you over a hard limit, more Google Ads accounts than it allows, Hero Marketer flags this before you confirm and asks you to disconnect the over-limit accounts first. Hero Marketer never deletes accounts, products, or campaigns automatically.
Purchased top-up credits are separate from your plan allocation and aren't affected by an upgrade or downgrade.
Pausing your subscription
There's no formal pause. The closest equivalent is downgrading to Pro for stretches when you don't need a higher tier, then upgrading back when you do.
Monthly only
Hero Marketer is monthly only, annual plans aren't offered. There's no annual versus monthly switch.
Stopping payment entirely
To stop paying altogether, cancel rather than downgrade. See Cancel your subscription.
Needing more than Agency
If you need more than Agency allows, higher account limits, more credits, or specific contractual terms, contact support. Custom plans are available.
