Monitoring and the daily rate
Alerts and automations keep checking your Google Ads account while you are not looking. That runs every day whether or not you sign in, so it carries a daily rate of 0.25 credits per connected account.
One account is about $7.50 a month. Two accounts is about $15, and so on.
What the rate pays for
- The 17 alert checks, run against your account on a schedule
- Automations, which act on the safe reversible fixes and write an entry you can undo
- The email that tells you when something needs attention
Alerts and automations run in the same pass, so they are one rate, not two.
How to stop it
Turn both alerts and automations off, in Settings → Alerts and Settings → Automations. The rate stops the same day.
Turning off only some alert types does not stop the rate. Monitoring is still running, just with fewer checks.
When credits run out
Hero Marketer warns you before this happens, by email:
- About a week of monitoring left
- About three days left
- The day before it stops
After your balance runs out there is a short grace period, so a top up over a weekend does not cost you coverage. When that ends, monitoring pauses.
Monitoring pausing is never silent. A banner appears on every page of the app, and you get an email. Your dashboard and reports keep working.
Buying credits starts monitoring again immediately, and clears the warnings.
