Refund policy

You can get a full refund on a Hero Marketer subscription within 14 days of the charge, as long as you've used less than 10% of that billing period's credits. That threshold is 2 credits on Pro, 5 on Growth, and 10 on Agency. To request one, contact support. Refunds are processed by a person.

Hero Marketer has no free trial. You have 14 days to evaluate the product and request a refund.

How much you can use and still get a full refund

A full refund is available only if you've used less than 10% of your monthly credit allocation in the period you're refunding:

  • Pro. Full refund if you've used 2 or fewer credits.
  • Growth. Full refund if you've used 5 or fewer credits.
  • Agency. Full refund if you've used 10 or fewer credits.

If you've used more than that, the credits you spent paid for real AI work, so they aren't refundable, but the unused portion of the charge still is, prorated, if you request it.

The threshold resets on every charge. If your subscription renews and you've used less than 10% of that period's credits within 14 days of the renewal, you're eligible again.

What a refund covers

When you're eligible, a refund returns:

  • The full subscription charge for the current period, or a prorated portion of it, if you used some credits but stayed under the threshold.

A refund does not cover:

  • Purchased credit top-ups. Top-ups are non-refundable as a standard rule. See Buy more credits for the by-exception process.
  • Google Ads ad spend. Hero Marketer never bills your ad spend, you pay Google directly. A refund for ad spend is between you and Google Ads.
  • Charges older than 14 days. A renewal that's more than 14 days past isn't covered by the standard window.

How to get a refund

To request a refund, contact support and include the email on your Hero Marketer account and which charge you want refunded (the date and amount).

A refund is processed within 5 business days. It lands back on your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after that, depending on your bank.

What happens after a refund

When a refund is processed:

  • Your subscription is cancelled, a refund and an active subscription don't coexist.
  • Access continues through the end of the period being refunded, then ends.
  • Your data is retained per the standard retention policy. See Cancel your subscription for what's kept and for how long.

Cases handled outside the standard rule

A few situations are handled by a person at contact support, regardless of the usage threshold or whether 14 days have passed:

  • You were charged incorrectly. A billing error is fully refunded regardless of usage or timing.
  • An outage or sustained problem on Hero Marketer's side prevented you from using the product. Reviewed case by case.
  • A charge older than 14 days that you have a specific reason to dispute (such as an extended outage). Outside the standard guarantee, but contact support and it'll be reviewed.

If you disagree with how a refund request was handled, reply to the same support thread and ask for it to be re-reviewed.
