Overview
The Hero Marketer dashboard provides a centralized view of your Google Ads campaign performance. It displays key metrics, trends, and campaign data in an easy-to-understand format designed specifically for B2B SaaS marketing teams.
Dashboard Components
1. Header Section
Account Selection: View your active Google Ads account name
Date Range Selector: Choose your preferred date range for metrics
Select from preset ranges (Last 7 days, Last 30 days, etc.)
Set custom date ranges
Enable comparison mode to view performance changes
2. Metrics Grid
The metrics grid displays your key performance indicators:
Primary Metrics: View essential metrics like Cost, Conversions, and CAC
Comparison Data: When comparison mode is enabled, see percentage changes
Customization: - Use metric dropdowns to select which metrics to display
3. Performance Charts
Track your campaign performance over time with:
Time-based Trends: View metric changes over your selected period
Granularity Options: Switch between daily, weekly, or monthly views
Comparison Overlay: See historical data alongside current performance
4. Campaign Table
Review detailed campaign-level data:
Campaign List: See all active campaigns and their metrics
Sorting: Click column headers to sort by any metric
Status Filtering: Filter campaigns by status (Active, Paused, etc.)
Performance Data: View individual campaign metrics and trends
Using the Dashboard
Setting Your Date Range
Click the date range selector in the header
Choose a preset range or select custom dates
(Optional) Enable comparison mode to see performance changes
Click "Apply" to update all dashboard components
Customizing Your View
Metrics Selection:
Click metrics in the grid to show/hide them in charts
Use the dropdown on each metric card to change the displayed metric
Choose from available metrics not already displayed
Chart Granularity:
Use the granularity selector above charts
Choose daily, weekly, or monthly views based on your needs
Campaign Filtering:
Use status filters to focus on specific campaigns
Sort the campaign table by clicking column headers
Select specific campaigns using the campaign filter
Reading Comparison Data
When comparison mode is enabled:
Current period metrics appear in the primary display
Previous period data shows below for easy comparison
Percentage changes indicate performance trends
Charts overlay historical data for visual comparison
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
Loading States: The dashboard shows skeletons while fetching data
No Data: Verify your date range and filter selections
Error Messages: Use the retry option in error dialogs
